He exhibited twelve times at the Royal Academy.\n\nFrom 1921 - 1930 he was Headmaster of the Victoria School of Art in Southport and Curator of the Atkinson Art Gallery. From 1930 to 1951 he was principal of the Liverpool College of Art. He was president of the Liverpool Academy between 1942 and 1947 and again from 1950 to 1957.\n\nHenry Percy Huggill  (1887-1957), member of the Royal Cambrian Academy in 1943.
