About Kevin
This is Kevin. He is a black pug with very strong opinions about which pieces belong in the shop and which ones do not. We have learned to trust him.
The Story
Jeff and Susan have always loved art — the kind you find in galleries, and the kind you find at the bottom of a box at an estate sale that turns out to be something wonderful.
When COVID shut everything down, they needed something to do together. Their kids were older and out doing their own thing. So they started hunting.
Estate sales. Auctions. Antique markets. Quiet corners of the internet where good things get overlooked. They found art glass and original paintings and global curiosities and pieces that made them stop and say that's interesting — which, it turns out, is the only criteria that matters.
Four or five years later, what started as a pandemic hobby has become something they both love. They look for things that earned their place on a wall or a shelf. Things with a story. Things someone made by hand and cared about.
Kevin supervises all of it. He has never once been wrong.
Meet the Pugs
Kevin is a black pug and the original Fancy Pug. Calm, discerning, and deeply committed to napping near the action. He has final approval on all inventory. This is not a joke.
Sheldon arrived later, younger, and with considerably more energy. He is a fawn pug who approaches every situation like it belongs in a comic book — big entrance, maximum expression, speech bubble implied.

Sheldon does not yet have Kevin's curatorial instincts, but he makes up for it in enthusiasm. He has knocked over exactly one piece of art glass. We do not talk about it.
