Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Cherub Leather Wallet

An elegant antique Art Nouveau leather wallet featuring beautifully detailed sterling silver repoussé mounts with flowing scrollwork, floral motifs, and a charming cherub (putto) design.

Dating to the late Victorian or early Edwardian period (circa 1895–1915), this piece served as a gentleman’s or lady’s wallet, aide-mémoire, or calling card case. The interior retains its original leather compartments for notes, calling cards, receipts, and personal papers.

The sterling frame is clearly marked STERLING, and the decorative front retains its original blank cartouche, never personalized with a monogram.

Its combination of sculptural silverwork and aged leather makes it equally attractive as a collectible or display piece.
