Antique Japanese hanging scroll (kakejiku) featuring a bijin-ga painting of a woman in a traditional kimono, rendered in the Ukiyo-e style. The scroll is framed by a decorative brocade border with a traditional dark pattern, often seen in Edo-period artworks. There is clear age-related wear, including tears and creases, as well as minor paint loss. Unrolled, the scroll is 72" x 16". Please review all photographs, as they are part of the description.
