Here's a bold and unique lamp: a nearly 40" tall figural scene depicting Perseus with Medusa's head and shield, riding Pegasus. It's a beautiful mid-century reinterpretation of Émile Louis Picault's famous 1888 bronze (shown at the Paris Salon) titled Perseus and Pegasus. Signed "E Picault Salon des Beaux Arts 1888" as a nod to the original, this piece blends mythic drama with functional design. The paint shows charming age and wear—adds to its vintage charm. A perfect showpiece for lovers of myth, Art Deco, or classical revival motifs
