Vintage Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur Cigar Box

A handsome vintage Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur Royal Sterling “Fortis” cigar box, featuring a black wood finish, silver-tone metal corner protectors, and a large decorative Hoyo de Monterrey de Jose Gener medallion on the lid.

The box has a great old-world presentation, with its dark finish contrasted by ornate silver-tone hardware and lettering. Originally produced as packaging for Excalibur Royal Sterling cigars, it now makes an excellent decorative storage box, desk accessory, display piece, or addition to a collection of vintage cigar advertising and tobacciana.

The front retains its original metal latch and decorative handle, while the reinforced metal corners give the box a substantial, almost small-trunk appearance.
